Hannah Goldwater, APRN

Hannah Goldwater is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in gastroenterology. She received her FNP degree from Rory Meyers NYU College of Nursing while working as an endoscopy nurse at NYU Langone Health. In addition to endoscopy, she has experience in cardiology, orthopedics and Covid nursing. She values patient-centered care and open communication between patient and provider. Hannah specializes in lifestyle modifications and focuses on treating patients holistically. She is passionate about health prevention and wellness and has an extensive personal background including yoga, running, and powerlifting. Hannah is from New York City but loves living in the Hudson Valley with her family.

I provide compassionate and comprehensive care to all my patients by being fully present and asking many questions.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them? 
It is important to me that my patients feel heard and supported. Patients can trust that I will listen to their health concerns and work as a team toward balance and wellness.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients? 
I'm working for my tiny bosses - my 2.5-year-old son and my 6-month-old daughter. When they allow me time off I enjoy exercising in my garage gym, reading a good book or exploring Kingston with my chihuahua Pico

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Although I don't perform procedures I love that GI has the unique ability to visualize the inside and sometimes identify the problem. Staying on top of scheduled endoscopies and colonoscopies can make a huge impact on someone's life.
