Harriet Perdikaris, APRN

Harriet is a Nurse Practitioner with special training in both acute care and cancer care, specifically for gynecologic conditions like ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancer. She has years of experience helping patients manage these conditions and is deeply committed to providing support at every stage of treatment—whether it's during diagnosis, throughout treatment, or in recovery. With a strong background in both nursing and medical science, Harriet works closely with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care and outcomes. Her goal is to make sure patients feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout their journey.

I take the time to listen to their concerns, answer all their questions, and make sure they feel both physically and emotionally supported throughout their treatment.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Fierce and loyal advocacy. I encourage patients to be honest with their needs so we can make decisions together.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I spend much of my free time making quilts for my friends and family, and going on long walks with my golden retriever, Buddy.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I am passionate about advocating for women's health needs and caring for people with gynecologic cancers. Building personal connections with patients keeps me motivated.
