About Hillary Iweorah
Professional Statement
Hillary Iweorah, PA, is an experienced Physician Assistant with a strong foundation built on over 21 years as a Respiratory Therapist (Adult/Peds/Neonates) and in sleep medicine.
He spent 7 years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in a Trauma and Burn ICU, where he was exposed to advanced skills in ventilator management, airway stabilization, and the care of critically ill patients. This high-acuity experience was followed by 13 years at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, specializing in neonatal and pediatric intensive care. During this time, Hillary gained extensive expertise in managing complex respiratory conditions in vulnerable populations.
While completing his Physician Assistant training at CUNY, Hillary worked at Norwalk Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist, maintaining strong ties to the local healthcare community. After transitioning into the PA role, he expanded his expertise with 3.5 years in a pulmonary, allergy, and sleep medicine clinic, managing conditions such as asthma, immunotherapy, COPD, and sleep-related disorders, with a focus on patient education and long-term disease management.
