Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
My primary avidity is in practicing patient-centered pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicine.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients’ preferences and priorities are most important to me, and I collaborate with them to make medical decisions by sharing the most current medical evidence.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I love spending time with my husband, reading, being outdoors, traveling, cooking and learning new recipes.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
It is a privilege to care for and know my patients. My background in pulmonary, critical care and sleep allows me to care for the sickest patients in the intensive care unit, and to see patients in the clinic with pulmonary and sleep problems, building long-term relationships. I feel that the greatest reward is in teaching learners of all levels and learning from them.
