Jacqueline Feinstix

Jacqui Feinstix is a Manhattan Birth certified birth doula, childbirth educator, lactation counselor, and prenatal yoga instructor, based in Ulster County. Her professional journey began in 2012 during her yoga teacher training, where exposure to the energy of expectant mothers inspired her pursuit of prenatal yoga and birth work beginning in 2014. 

Jacqui provides comprehensive support to birthing individuals by integrating evidence-based knowledge, movement, breathwork, and a nurturing presence. She recognizes that every birth experience is distinct, treating each with individualized care and respect.

How do I spend my valuable personal time when I am not caring for patients?
Outside of my professional role, I value spending quality time with my family and pets. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking in the Hudson Valley, attending concerts, and camping, which help me find rejuvenation and balance through nature, music, and meaningful connections.

Why did I choose my specialty and what is its greatest reward?
My commitment to birth work arose from a profound sense of vocation. I am continually inspired by the transformative nature of birth and the singular significance of each birthing experience. My role is defined by holding space with reverence and providing attentive support, honoring the unique and meaningful moments in my clients’ lives.
