James V. Lettera, MD

Dr. Lettera is a board-certified thoracic surgeon in practice since 1984. He specializes in non-cardiac thoracic surgery, including traditional and minimally invasive approaches for patients with illness involving the chest organs, lungs and esophagus. He also specializes in spinal exposure techniques that allow spine surgeons access to all levels of the spinal column for the purpose of relieving back pain and leg weakness. With this part of his practice, Dr. Lettera provides spine surgeons and their patients the ability to utilize modern procedures for treating disorders of the spine.
