Jan Tomasz Slupski, MD

Dr. Slupski is a NYC native who is passionate about fostering his patient’s health and wellness via a comprehensive multimodal approach that includes lifestyle modifications and pharmaceutical intervention when necessary as well as laboratory and imaging evaluation. While he enjoys most aspects of medicine, he is most interested in Endocrinology, Obesity medicine and Lipidology.

I believe strongly in continued education in medicine and always evolving as a physician therefore patients can rest assured that they will always be provided with the latest and most up to date care.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I will always be open-minded and strongly consider your opinions and experiences. Therefore, I hope that with time you come to trust me with your care and feel comfortable enough to share all that is bothering you so that we can work together to solve it.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Lifting weights, going on trips with my wife, reading about geopolitics and history.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I love the breadth of knowledge required to practice Internal Medicine and its greatest reward is that I am usually the first line of defense the patient will turn to when concerned about their health.
