About Jasjit Bhinder

Professional Statement

Dr. Bhinder is a board-certified cardiologist and advanced heart failure specialist. She grew up in the Hudson Valley and is excited to return to care for patients where she grew up. Dr. Bhinder dedicates a majority of her practice to taking care of the sickest patient population, those with heart failure. She explains this complex disease process and all the therapies we can offer. Outside of work, she spends time with her husband and two kids hiking, going to shows and eating at fun new restaurants.

Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I provide personalized care to your needs and conditions while following evidence-based guidelines. I do this while providing a supportive environment.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I believe in open dialogue and communication. Understanding all aspects of your care is key to your treatment.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I love to be outdoors with my family. You can find us hiking or at a farm most of my free weekends.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Cardiology and heart failure is a fast-paced specialty that attracted me to it. My greatest reward is taking care of a sick cardiogenic shock patient in the hospital and then following up with them in my office once they have recovered.
