Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I place a high value on thoroughness and attention to detail in caring for my patients. I also believe in the importance of helping patients understand the complexities of their medical conditions and the various treatment options available to them so that we can decide together on the best course of management based on their individual needs and values.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
The most important thing my patients should expect from me is complete dedication to their medical care. Likewise, I believe patients must be full partners in this process.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing and traveling.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I became interested in cardiology early in medical school and this grew into a passion as I continued along in my medical training. I enjoy the challenge of practicing in such a rapidly evolving specialty and am grateful to be able to help patients dealing with both acute emergencies and chronic conditions.
