Jenna Katt, FNP

Jenna Katt became a Registered Nurse in 2011. She specialized in Women's Health and began her journey in a big city hospital, Katz Women's in Queens, NY. There Jenna advanced her career specializing in Labor and delivery, high risk antepartum and post-partum. She naturally wanted more knowledge and then became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017. With Jenna’s background, she naturally gravitated toward women and children. Lactation became her passion and specialization during her 15 years in this field.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
In my office my patients are treated like family. We are all helping raise the village of children. Why not do it with genuine love and compassion. Love radiates from my office to your world. I look forward to being a part of your lactation journey!

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients step into an office of peace, love and support. I wish for my patients to honor my opinions and value my care. I expect them to leave with a smile and by feeling inspired and supported!

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I love being outdoors. Putting my hands in dirt with my boys (Theo and Colton) and feeling the sunshine on my skin. I love sitting with my husband overlooking our mountain view and watching the sunset. I obsess over the beach and anything with water! I love to cook healthy organic food for my family and nourish them! I also love to play with my dog Maple who is a beautiful Bernadoodle.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
When I began my mothering journey, I quickly realized the importance of nourishing my baby. After nursing both my boys into toddlerhood (4 and 5). I realized how significant the relationship would be. The greatest reward is to help the children get the best start possible. After all, breast milk is medicine!
