Joel Panthappattu, MD

Joel Panthappattu, MD was born in New York City and raised in Rockland County, NY (specifically Congers, NY). He attended NYIT where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Panthappattu completed my medical training at Ross University School of Medicine and a Family Medicine residency at the Institute for Family Health Mid-Hudson program. Dr. Panthappattu is an enthusiastic supporter of sports, with a particular interest in soccer. His favorite soccer team is Liverpool F.C.

Our professional relationship should be built on trust. That trust goes both ways.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
With my family and a few of my hobbies.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
My specialty allows flexibility and scope. The greatest reward is seeing our patients getting back to their level of function.
