John A. Horiszny, MD

Dr. Horiszny is a hospitalist physician, board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, with a practice dedicated to caring for hospitalized adult patients. He has been on the medical staff at Northern Dutchess Hospital since 1998. In addition to his duties caring for patients, he is an educator who helps train the next generation of family medicine physicians.

I try to work collaboratively with my patients, and take into account their needs and preferences when addressing their health conditions.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time at home with my family, working in my yard and skiing in the Catskills.
