Jonathan A. Ludwin, FNP

Mr. Ludwin is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certified by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He received his clinical training from Pace University Lienhard School of Nursing and graduated with honors with both his RN and NP degrees. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics with honors from the University at Buffalo. He worked as a Hospitalist for 8 years before entering Pulmonology and served as an Internal Medicine clinical preceptor for the Marist College Physician assistant program for 3 years. He received two preceptor awards for Internal Medicine through the 2019-2022 academic years. Mr. Ludwin has a passion for collaborative care, teaching and the incorporation of technology into clinical medicine.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients can expect patience, empathy, thoroughness, and an emphasis and education. The best outcomes will come from individuals, or caregivers, who are motivated and proactive in managing their personal or dependent's health.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy hiking, music and activities related to exercise, fitness and nutrition.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
There is unique challenge and reward in seeing patients improve and successfully navigate their pulmonary health.
