Jonathan Barnhard, MD

Dr. Jonathan Barnhard is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as maternal and fetal medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Barnhard is currently the director of obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine at Norwalk Hospital, and has held many leadership positions across his career including being the former director of obstetrics and gynecology at White Plains Hospital, the former chairman of ob/gyn at Norwalk Hospital and the former vice-chairman of obstetrics and gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Barnhard is also a clinical associate professor at The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. In addition to his administrative leadership as director of obstetrics, Dr. Barnhard oversees care for women with high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with the mother's obstetrician or midwife.
