About Joseph I. Burdowski
Professional Statement
Joseph Burdowski, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with additional subspecialty training in advanced cardiac imaging, including cardiac CT and MRI. He currently serves as the Director of Cardiac MRI. He is dedicated to building strong relationships with his patients and providing compassionate care. Dr. Burdowski enjoys educating his patients to ensure they truly understand their cardiac conditions, testing results and treatment options. In addition to treating a wide spectrum of cardiac illnesses, he places significant emphasis on the prevention of cardiac disease through both medical therapies and lifestyle interventions. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and living an active lifestyle by hiking, cycling and running.

Honesty, patience and empathy are among the most important things in any patient-physician relationship.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love to spend time with my family and golden retriever. I enjoy living an active lifestyle by hiking, cycling, running or exercising at home.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose the field of cardiology because it allows me to care for critically ill patients, but also focus on preventive strategies in others.
