Juliana Garofalo, PA

Juliana is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Neurosurgery. After earning a Master of Science (MSPA) degree at the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute, she completed the Norwalk Hospital-Yale PA Surgical Residency where she developed skills in all aspects of perioperative care. Juliana is dedicated to providing patient-centered care that is evidence-based so that each patient's needs are individually considered.

I believe in the importance of communication and patient education so that patients can be informed and be equal partners in their care

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time on the Long Island Sound and appreciating the natural beauty that this area offers.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
It is truly a privilege to care for patients as they are faced with the challenges of surgery. I am constantly humbled and inspired by their strength.
