Get To Know Me
I put my patients first and collaborate with each patient to be a partner in their health, utilizing medications, procedures and non-pharmacological therapies with lifestyle changes.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Feeling trusted, comfortable and accountable are most important in a physician/patient relationship. This allows me to provide my patients with an individualized plan of care.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy sailing and hiking the scenic Hudson Valley with my family.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose headache medicine because there is a great reward in getting patients back to their level of functioning that is different from the other progressive neurological diseases.

He was and his staff, was found to be Extremely professional, extremely courteous and very knowledgeable about everything Dr. Vieira took the time to explain my condition to me and reviewed all avenues of treatment in a manner which anyone would be able to understand.
