Karen Sanchez, PA-C

I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University. I subsequently received my Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Marist College. My previous medical experience involved consulting with patients after surgery, as well as consulting patients in non-surgical weight loss programs to better their overall quality of life.

I strive to maintain a calm and reassuring environment when communicating with patients.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I am passionate about ensuring my patients receive the best quality treatment. I hope if any questions arise, my patients will feel comfortable to ask and have open communication with me.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my family, running and going on walks with my dog.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Surgery allows me to provide unparalleled continuity of patient care. I also appreciate the teamwork involved among the medical staff in the operating room.
