Kathleen A. Llewellyn, MD

Kathleen Llewellyn, MD is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with particular interest in breast imaging including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Since completing a fellowship in breast and body imaging at North Shore University Hospital in 2013, she has worked in the Hudson Valley. Kathleen provides all types of breast image guided procedures including biopsies and preoperative breast localizations.

I strive to provide personal and accurate diagnoses to each unique patient.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I hope all patients feel well cared for and comfortable and hope all patients can openly express their concerns.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
My free time is spent enjoying life with my wonderful husband and three amazing children.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose breast imaging to be part of a team to help improve the well-being of our patients. The reward is seeing patients get the best care they can, often at a time that is life altering.
