What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
You can expect that your medical care is a collaborative relationship. I want to make sure that you are involved in your care and able to have a voice. At the same time, I expect that you respect my decisions and that we can have a cooperative relationship.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Having grown up in Connecticut, I've always relished its surroundings and continue to do so. I spend my time hiking, running and exploring local restaurants.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose my specialty as I was interested in understanding the complexity of the human body. The greatest reward is to be able to figure out what is happening to truly help the patient.
