No matter what is going on in my life, I am 100% present for the patient during their visit.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I think a reciprocal relationship of honesty, respect and heartfelt care is most important.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young daughters, as well as running and hiking with my chocolate lab.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
With pulmonology, I am able to establish long-lasting relationships while managing chronic illness. The greatest reward is helping patients through their most difficult times.
