Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I value being a supportive listener to my patients and forming a trusting relationship with them so we can work together to optimize their care.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
The most important thing to expect is my honesty and interest in having open discussions with my patients to learn how to best treat and manage their cardiovascular conditions. I expect them to be active participants in these discussions and their overall medical care.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I love staying active, spending time with my family and friends, enjoying nature and exploring new cultures through travel.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose cardiology because it is a special field that is constantly advancing in terms of what we can offer patients. It also allows me to not only care for patients when they are critically ill but to form long-term relationships with them.

She took the time to understand how I feel about medications and invasive tests. She was very patient and gave me all the time I needed to receive complete answers to my questions. Her answers were thorough and her explanations were clear and to the point. She alleviated all my concerns especially with questions I had about test results. I felt well cared for as she also explained a plan going forward.

I felt rushed. And I did not feel listened to. I strongly feel that having Husky D (medicaid) plays a role in some (not all) dr's unwillingness to spend too much time with you. That's not right.
