Lindsay F. Athans, FNP

Lindsay Athans is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With a strong background in nursing and family health and a passion for women’s health and wellness, Lindsay strives to provide holistic care to women of all ages. Lindsay was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and is proud to care for women in our community.

I will always take the time to listen to my patients and will work with my patients to achieve their healthcare goals.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I value the provider-patient relationship and believe in mutual respect and open communication to ensure the best outcomes. With a background in primary care/family medicine, I take a holistic approach to care.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, cycling, reading, traveling and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I love working with women and supporting women and families with their healthcare needs and challenges throughout the reproductive years and beyond. I find it especially rewarding to develop trusting relationships with my patients and share their healthcare experiences.
