About Linus T. Chuang

Professional Statement

Linus Chuang, MD, is the Fred and Irmi Bering Endowed Chair in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Danbury Hospital. He is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with more than 25 years of experience diagnosing, treating and caring for women who have gynecologic cancers. He is most passionate about achieving the best possible outcome. In addition to providing state-of-the-art care and cutting-edge surgical management of ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancers, he is well known for minimally invasive surgery —laparoscopy and robotic surgery — and prevention surgery for women at high risk for gynecologic cancers. He incorporates heated chemotherapy delivered directly into the abdomen for women who have advanced ovarian cancer. Genomic testing is included in his practice to develop personalized treatments. In his spare time, Dr. Chuang enjoys playing tennis and traveling.

I couldn’t have asked for a better, more compassionate and knowledgeable provider. I’m very grateful that I was referred and think both Dr. Linus and the nurse I had with me were incredible.

I have gone to other ob/gyn offices in search of a Dr. that I felt comfortable with since my Dr of decades retired. I assumed I might be somewhat happy with Dr Chuang. Thankfully I was completely happy with his manner and expertise. I left his office relieved that I had found the oncologist I can trust for my procedure.
