Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I hope to provide accessible and expert care to each patient that I see, and whether it is a one-time meeting or an ongoing relationship, I try to build trust and collaborate with each individual who entrusts their care to me.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I strive to provide compassionate and individualized care and assist patients in navigating for care and treatment of their conditions. From patients, I expect their honest feedback as to how they are doing and if there is anything else I can do to help them
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
With my Grandchildren, boating on Long Island Sound and playing with our dogs, Shawnee and Nico.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I had an interest in neuroscience in college and medical school. This was reinforced by neurologists that I worked with during medical school, so it was logical that I chose neurology as my profession. Neurological conditions are many times difficult to diagnose and treat and can be life-altering for individuals. While many of these conditions cannot be cured, the reward is in helping individuals live with and cope with their conditions when a cure is not possible.
