Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I am a compassionate and skilled physician dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. With a strong background in emergency medicine, research and community service, I ensure that every patient receives equitable treatment and the best possible care.
My leadership experience and commitment to underserved communities, allows me to connect with patients on a personal level. I am deeply passionate about advocating for my patients.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients can expect compassionate, high-quality care where their concerns are heard, their well-being is prioritized, and they are actively involved in their healthcare decisions. With me, you are not just receiving medical care—you are gaining a dedicated advocate for your health and well-being. I believe in fostering a welcoming and judgment-free environment where patients can come as they are, feeling safe and heard.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients? Outside of medicine I am actively involved in mentorship, community service and leadership initiatives. Additionally, I have helped organize networking events and participated in educational outreach programs. Beyond my professional and volunteer work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring new places or simply appreciating nature. I value quality time with family and friends, finding joy in meaningful connections.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose the specialty of Emergency Medicine because physicians in this field find themselves at the forefront of care, providing for and stabilizing patients' conditions, discerning life-threatening from non-life-threatening cases. My greatest reward has been connecting with people from diverse backgrounds who embody the richness of our society and having the opportunity to provide them with compassionate care, regardless of race, gender, identity or religion.
