I have years of experience caring for a large variety of patients, and will serve each with exceptional work ethic and professionalism.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I will diligently utilize all resources available for patients to maintain optimal health, so that they can pursue their purpose in life.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and staying physically active by running, hiking, swimming, skiing and biking.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose internal medicine because I enjoy the intellectual challenges of diagnosing and treating patients. The greatest reward is building therapeutic relationships with people.

I would like to say that I always felt safe and well taken care of by Dr Velsmid. Over the past months I have struggled with some health issues and Dr. Velsmid always knew who to refer me to and followed up with necessary paperwork.

He always LISTENS to your concerns and addresses them. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what he's telling you plus he does answer all tour questions!!!!!
