I Initially started as a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainer's Association. However, my path was set when I entered nursing, as a 'career changer'. After becoming a Registered Nurse, I knew becoming Nurse Practitioner was the next goal. Ever since becoming an NP, patient care has been my greatest reward.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
My interest and concern for your health and well-being is the priority. I want you, the patient, to obtain your healthcare goals and expectations.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients should expect a personalized, but direct, approach to their healthcare needs. In return, I expect patients to give the effort back as given to them.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Staying active! Road cycling or mountain biking every day of the week. Will add in hiking, kayaking and other outdoor activities as time permits.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Always had an interest in caring for the whole person. My reward is assisting patients attain new goals and levels of health.
