Trust and honesty are fundamental to the patient/doctor relationship. Building this type of relationship allows me to personalize patient care.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy traveling, salt water fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose internal medicine because I love the wide variety of people I get to meet. Each person has a story that enriches my life and being able to care for them and learn from them is fulfilling.
