Meenatchi Kumaraguruparan, MBBS

After completing her medical diploma in India Dr. Kumaraguruparan went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx. She has a special interest in nephrology and has been working in various roles as a hospitalist in regional hospitals.

I am a board-certified physician, hardworking and will always put the patient’s welfare first, and will coordinate with specialists as needed.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I hope to always listen to my patients and work for their wellbeing.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I like visiting new places and spending time with my family.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Medicine can be straightforward, challenging and is always interesting. Corrective treatment can be life-changing and its own reward for both the patient and the staff working towards it.
