About Michael E. Bush
Professional Statement
Michael Bush, MD, is partially retired and joined the staff at Norwalk Hospital in 1984. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and did his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Besides enjoying practicing general pathology, he has a special interest in clinical microbiology and laboratory informatics.

I have many years of experience in pathology, working in close association with our group of pathologists to provide timely and accurate diagnoses.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Our group of pathologists work closely with your physician to aid in your care.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy traveling, visiting with the grandchildren, gardening and hiking with my wife, Kathy.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I enjoy learning about the basic science behind disease process and helping our clinical colleagues in patient diagnosis and management.
