Professional Statement

Dr. Isakoff is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist, board-certified by The American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Isakoff is President of the Medical Staff at Connecticut Children’s in addition to serving as Clinical Director of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, Director of the Sarcoma Program, Director of the Reid R. Sacco Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program, and Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Unit. Dr. Isakoff is also the Hartford Whalers’ Endowed Chair in Children’s Cancer at UConn Health. He has a particular interest in treating patients with bone sarcoma, soft tissue sarcoma, hemangiomas and rare tumors.
