Michele Amado, PA-C

Michele Amado is a physician assistant specializing in general surgery. She completed her education at the New York Institute of Technology where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Before that, she attended Ithaca College and completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Medical Sciences. Michele has a passion for medicine and strives to give patients the best care possible. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and being with family and friends.

It's incredibly important to me that patients feel heard and respected, and I strive to give patients the best care possible.

I value open communication with my patients so that we can best understand and address their concerns.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose general surgery because it's an extremely interesting specialty that allows me to care for patients with a wide range of conditions. Additionally, it's incredibly rewarding to see patients improve and to be a part of their recovery.
