Michelene R. Wray, APRN

Michelene Wray is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, as well as more than 15 years of experience in direct patient care. She holds a Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing. My work and internship experience entailed managing the care of medical and surgical patients, educating patients and families about the disease process and self-care; and assessing, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
The most important things that my patients can expect in our professional relationship are compassion, empathy, effective communication and the provision of excellent care.

I chose this specialty because I can further support patients, and work as a part of a care team that delivers personalized care to improve patient outcomes.
