Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I am caring and welcoming. I take my time to listen closely and diagnose, and I work with the patient to determine a comprehensive treatment plan. I focus on pain reduction, function restoration and my patients’ well-being.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
They should expect a physician who is dedicated to working with her patients to diagnose and treat them to the best of her abilities. I expect a patient to be honest, and to be part of the treatment plan, in order to most efficiently decrease pain and improve function and quality of life.

How do you spend your personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
In her free time, she loves spending time with family, reading, running, exercising at Crossfit, traveling and going to the beach.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose my specialty as I was fascinated with musculoskeletal medicine, and I aspired to help people reduce pain, enhance their quality of life, and restore function. My desire to specialize my skills in interventional pain management led me to a fellowship after residency.  I am double board certified in Physical Medicine Rehabilitation and Pain Management. The greatest rewards from my job are connecting with my patients and being a part of their pain reduction and improved quality of life.
