Michelle R. Camastro, FNP

Michelle Camastro is a board-certified family nurse practitioner practicing in cardiology. Michelle believes that education and communication play a key role in providing patient care. She received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in 2011 and a Masters Degree in Nursing from Pace University in 2014. She has been employed at Vassar Brothers Medical Center since 2009 and has been practicing as a cardiology nurse practitioner since 2017. Michelle takes pride in the relationships she is able to build with patients and their families. She is a lifelong resident of Dutchess County. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

I love to go on walks with my family and dog.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have always had an interest in cardiology and enjoy on the fast paced nature of the job.
