Get To Know Me
Having a team approach in treating resistant infections is important. I collaborate with my patients and other providers to come up with an individualized treatment plan.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Honesty and regard are important aspects of a physician/patient relationship. This allows me to provide the best care.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love spending free time with my family by spending quality time hiking and playing tennis.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose infectious diseases because I love to put on my detective hat to diagnose mysterious cases of rare infectious diseases or unusual manifestations of more common diseases.

Dr. Khan has always answered my questions clearly and efficiently. If I send her an email about any issues I am having about medication, etc. she responds within 24 hours. I am always able to get an appointment with her within a reasonable period of time. I am very satisfied with the care. I am getting from Dr. Khan.
