Nadia T. Orr, MD

Nadia Orr, MD was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. She attended medical school at St. George’s University, gratuating Magna Cum Laude in 2019. Dr. Orr completed her internal medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital, during which she had the opportunity to do a rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering, focusing on the medical treatment of patients with leukemia. Following her residency, she moved to Pueblo, Colorado where Dr. Orr began her first attending position as a hospitalist.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients health and well-being are always my top priority. I believe in empowering patients through education - helping them understand their diagnoses, test results and treatment options. I encourage open communication and welcome any questions or concerns my patients may have.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading, hiking, exercising and traveling to visit my friends and family.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Health has always been a personal priority for me, and I am passionate about helping others achieve the best and healthiest versions of themselves. I find true fulfillment in seeing my patients thrive.
