Natalia A Grudzien, MD

Dr. Grudzień is an internist who hails from the city of Chicago. She attended the University of Chicago as an undergraduate and received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine in 2024 at the Loyola University Medical Center. She is excited to provide care to a new patient population in New York State. Her interests include acute and critical care medicine, procedural interventions, patient advocacy and medical ethics.

I am well-versed in a range of acute and chronic health conditions and aim to consistently provide up-to-date, evidence-based medical care that aligns with my patient’s priorities.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them? 
They should expect shared decision-making, open-mindedness and mutual respect.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
With my loved ones, preferably outdoors. My favorite indoor spots are my local library and the nearest dance studio.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose Internal Medicine because I enjoy caring for patients with complex medical conditions. I find it very rewarding to make a challenging diagnosis and create an effective treatment plan that aligns with my patients’ goals.
