Neelam Narula, APRN, is a board-certified geriatric nurse practitioner through ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) and ACPHN (Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse). Since graduating from Pace University in 2003, Neelam has gained extensive experience in geriatric medicine, working in both acute (hospital) and outpatient (clinic office) settings. Neelam is committed to fostering strong and lasting relationships with her patients and is particularly passionate about empowering older adults to enhance their quality of life while managing serious illnesses, using education and open, honest communication.

You should expect me to put your wishes and needs first and to be open and honest.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy the outdoors especially hiking peaks, national and international. I recently hiked Mount Kilimanjaro.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
It allows me to focus on the whole person, physical (disease/diagnosis), emotional and spiritual.
