Nicole Adella Delight-McCann, NP

Nicole Delight-McCann, NP, has served as a provider for three years in a busy urgent care setting, working independently as the sole provider. After earning her master’s in nursing, she completed a one-year fellowship program. Prior to her current role, Nicole accumulated over a decade of experience at the bedside as a nurse, including positions in an Emergency Department at a trauma facility, a local community Emergency Department, same day surgery, and outpatient procedures.

I listen to their concerns and establish a plan of treatment/care after explaining how it can benefit them

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I like to incorporate the patient in their own care and treatment plan. Joint decision making helps the patient feel in control of their health which can be applied in future health decisions.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Gardening, cooking and planning adventures with my husband and our 3 kids.

I chose this specialty to help make a difference in the community and empower patients in their health decisions.
