Get To Know Me
I have worked with patients of all backgrounds and have trained at top institutions. Coupling this with the supportive resources at our cancer center allows for a robust patient experience.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I will fight to cure their disease and also provide realistic expectations with regards to treatment side effects. However, I expect patients to understand that cure is not always possible.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with the people I love, no matter where we are – lounging on the couch, going to the beach or trying new restaurants. There is nothing better than good conversation and laughing.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
It is wonderful to have a longitudinal relationship with patients and their family members, helping them through deeply emotional and trying times. I am rewarded by their courage and advancements in the field.

She carefully explained the characteristics of my medical issue and helped me understand how it was most likely contributing to other symptoms I was intermittently experiencing. She’s always positive, kind, and caring. At every visit, no matter how busy she is, I never feel rushed. She is patient and gives me the time needed to clearly explain test results and courses of action.
