Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
Through my medical and life experience I feel that I am able to afford my patients a compassionate approach to care that is subjective to each patient, based upon clinical evidence and experience.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients should expect to be listened to and subsequently be provided a diagnosis and treatment plan individually based upon our discussion, assessment and supporting information. Throughout our relationship I expect my patients to raise questions/concerns as needed, and to extend respect to the whole medical team.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
My personal time is primarily structured around supporting the active lifestyles of my 3 kids. Between my wife and I, we support the kids to explore every opportunity life offers with an open mind, which happily leads to balancing a lot of busy schedules. With down time I love movies, music, travel and Liverpool FC.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
The specialty of pain management allows me to integrate a strong patient relationship with the interventional approach of pain management. This combination allows for an efficient approach to diagnosis and treatment. I find the ability to provide pain relief and return of function/lifestyle is extremely rewarding.
