Nina Hamilakis, APRN

Nina Hamilakis, APRN is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has over eight years of nursing experience in critical care, including cardiology. Her background includes intensive care, interventional cardiology, structural heart, and electrophysiology.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I value spending time with my family, friends, and my two dogs. I enjoy traveling, I am always up for a new adventure, and I appreciate finding balance through wellness, staying active, continued learning, and activities that help me recharge.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose this specialty because I’ve always been passionate about cardiology and its impact on every aspect of health. The greatest reward is guiding patients through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery and helping them live fuller, healthier lives.
