Nuan Cui, MD

Nuan Cui, MD, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She provides compassionate, high-quality care that helps women optimize their health and quality of life, with a focus on complex pelvic floor and gynecologic conditions.

Her clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence, genitourinary fistula, urethral diverticulum, recurrent urinary tract infections, and other pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Cui offers a wide range of office-based treatments and procedures based on patient’s individual needs. She is highly skilled in both open abdominal surgery and minimally invasive surgery, including vaginal and laparoscopic/robotic approaches.

Dr. Cui completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Hospital–Long Island in Mineola, New York, followed by fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York City. She has been actively involved in clinical research and is deeply committed to resident education; she was honored with the CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my family, having fun with outdoor activities, and making memory making road trips.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I strive on building trusting relationships with my patients. The greatest reward is seeing the joy on their face after improving their quality of life.
