About Payam Moein
Professional Statement
Dr. Moein is a board-certified physician in multiple subspecialties and is highly experienced in the fields of Epilepsy, EEG, EMG, and Neuromuscular disorders. During residency, he was trained in a comprehensive stroke center. During his two years of Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowships, he was trained in a level 4 epilepsy center. He has a particular interest in the management of medication-refractory epilepsy. He also practices general neurology involving several conditions such as stroke, headache, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders. Dr. Moein believes in listening to his patients' concerns and providing competent care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and carpentry.

I am an experienced physician who is board-certified in multiple specialties. I also value my patient's opinions and want them to have a positive experience while dealing with their health issues.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?=
My patients can expect me to be an attentive listener and to have their questions and concerns taken seriously.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I spend my extra time with my family. I also enjoy gardening, carpentry, and the great outdoors.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose to be a neurologist to help people have a better life. I enjoy solving puzzles and topics of intellectual complexity intrigue me.
