Rachel M. Wrobel, FNP

Rachel Wrobel is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac care in the acute care setting. She enjoys working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help in coordinating excellent patient care as well as improving patients' quality of life. She received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in 2011 and a Masters Degree in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in 2017. She has been employed at Vassar Brothers Medical Center since 2009 and has been practicing as a cardiology nurse practitioner since 2018. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Barry, as well as traveling.

I expect patients to be active participants in their healthcare. Having a trusting relationship, can help us work better together.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy indoor cycling, cooking and traveling.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Inpatient cardiac care allows me to care for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and hopefully the opportunity to improve their quality of life.
