Dr. Rachamalla started her practice in Hudson Valley in 2004 after completing her hematology and oncology training at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, cooking, traveling and watching TV.

Patients can expect caring, honest relationship and collaboration with other specialists. I expect willingness to communicate to build such a partnership.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love music, traveling, watching TV and spending time with my family and friends.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
The journey alongside my mother who died from breast cancer was my motivation. Helping patients and their families get through what can be the toughest time in their lives is most rewarding.
