Dr. Ravneet Bajwa is a hematologist/medical oncologist with special interests in treating GI and thoracic malignancies, in addition to various other types of cancers and blood disorders. He served as the Chief Fellow during his fellowship training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. He aims to provide comprehensive, compassionate and dedicated care to his patients. In his free time, he loves to read about history and cultural studies and listen to music.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
Being diagnosed with cancer is one of the toughest moments for any patient. In addition to cancer therapy, patients also need someone to address all their concerns and help them through this journey. I pride myself in following this principle and helping my patients to the best of my abilities.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients should expect honesty and good communication in addition to my clinical skills. And I expect the same from my patients.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I like to spend my free time with my family or traveling and listening to music.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
There is an ever-increasing incidence of cancer due to people living longer and other dietary vs environmental factors. And there is a great need for doctors to help cancer patients. Having rotated through various specialties, I found oncology as my calling. And my patient’s success stories are my greatest reward.

Dr. Bajwa is a great listener which is so important when there are things going on in your body that you just don’t understand. He explains everything from how you have been since your last visit, remembering everything. He will then address your results and what they show and mean, to what may be causing these results and what we can do going forward. Before you leave the office, you have your next appointment scheduled, and even your next blood work has been ordered. He is just very thorough and easy to talk to

The entire team at this office is absolutely amazing. From the front desk to the medical staff, they always go above and beyond for the patients. Their level of professionalism, kindness and understanding has far exceeded any of my expectations. The nursing staff are passionate about what they do and it shows in their level of care. We have seen Meaghan on several visits and she is absolutely amazing. Everyone is always so professional and provide clarity when needed. I’m truly blessed to have such a wonderful staff attending to my medical needs and treatment.
