About Royd Fukumoto
Professional Statement
Get To Know Me
In addition to providing excellent technical care in the operating room, I am always an advocate for my patients.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Honesty is most important. I explain to my patients what I feel their situation is and openly tell them what I think their options are. I expect the same openness in return.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love to spend time with my family and continuing to explore all the little cultural nooks and crannies of Connecticut.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Surgery offers the most prompt patient impact in medicine and it is wonderful to see patients quickly improve their health.
